Project Joy

Advent is a time of giving and preparing for Jesus.  With the Advent season, our school will take part in Project Joy.  During this time, we like to think of others who have little.  We are asking all classes at Little Flower to begin collecting monetary donations for Project Joy on Tuesday, December 3.  There will be a jar in each classroom for the students to contribute their donations.  The jars will be in the classroom until Tuesday, December 10.  On December 13 the 4th grade class will be going to stores in town where they will make purchases for area people in need.

Thank you for your participation and support.  Without all of you, this project could not be successful!

PTO Meeting Wednesday

There will be a PTO meeting on Wednesday, December 4 at 5:30pm.  Food will be served and children are welcome.

Winter In-City Bus Service

On Monday, December 2, as a service to school patrons, the Rugby Public School District will begin City Bussing (mornings only) for the winter months, the same as it has done in past years.  The school district offers this service, free of charge, to its in-town students during the winter months.  The City Bus service will run until approximately the end of March, depending upon spring weather conditions.  City Route information is available in the office.

All students riding buses should be properly clothed for extreme winter conditions, wearing winter coats, hats, gloves, and proper footwear.  Parents should check with students of all ages before they leave home to board a rural route or activity bus to be sure that they are prepared for the extreme weather potential that exists every day during this time of year.

Parents of children who ride school buses are reminded that winter weather in North Dakota can create dangerous situations for those students that are unprepared.

Thanksgiving Prayer Service

The Little Flower First and Second Grade Class along with their teacher Mrs. Jenna Brandt invite you to a Thanksgiving Prayer Service on Wednesday, November 27 at 1pm.  The Prayer Service will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church.  All members of the community are invited to participate.  Items for the Pierce County Food Pantry will be collected, everyone is encoraged to bring donations at that time.
