May is Mary’s Month

The 1st & 2nd graders led the Rosary before last Friday’s school Mass, during which the 3rd grade class crowned Mary, Our Queen and Our Mother.

We continue to implore Mary’s intercession with our Living Rosary coming up on Wednesday, May 11 at 10am.  Everyone is welcome to join us as we pray for our school, our families, and our country.  Weather permitting, we will be praying in the Mary garden across the street from Little Flower Catholic School.

Thank you!

We pray for blessings on all the generous people who contributed to the Little Flower Catholic School marathon.  Your contributions of time, talent, and treasure are much appreciated.  Everyone from the marathon committee members to the donors, police, fire department, fruit cutters, ice cream scoopers, and bikers, walkers, runners, prayer warriors, and observers played an important role in this event.  It was a breezy day for biking but a wonderful day for spending time with the school community.  The money raised will be used to further the cause of Catholic education in Rugby, ND.

May Crowning will be May 6

The month of May is traditionally dedicated to honoring and seeking the intercession of Mary as the Mother of God and Mother of the Church.  At Little Flower Catholic School, students of the third grade class have the honor of crowning Mary and bringing her roses as the entire community sings and honors Mary as our Mother.  This “May Crowning” will take place on Friday, May 6, just prior to the weekly school Mass.  You are invited to join us for this celebration.
